Did you know you can cook ham and turkey breast in the Air Fryer? Even hard-boiled eggs too? That’s right, you can make basically the entire meal in your air fryer. Using the air fryer is a great way to prepare several recipes in a fraction of the time.
This collection of air fryer Thanksgiving recipes will cover everything from the appetizers to the main meal and even dessert. That’s right you can even make apple pie and pumpkin pie in the air fryer too!
Tips for Making Air Fryer Thanksgiving Recipes:
The air fryer will use hot air to circulate around the food giving it golden brown crispy results, it’s a great option to use for a variety of meals including main dish recipes, air fryer side dishes, air fryer appetizers, and even air fryer desserts!
If you only want to use your air fryer for 1-2 recipes, then be sure to choose ones that would be made quicker in the air fryer.
For instance, it may take the same amount of time in the air fryer as it would on the stove to boil eggs, so it may be better to do an Air Fryer Turkey instead and do the eggs on the stove. It’s best to think ahead about what you will make in your air fryer to get the best use out of this small appliance.
We like to use ours for traditional side dish recipes such as air fryer potatoes or Brussels sprouts. Each of these are easy recipes and simple to make in the air fryer.
Another option would be to space out when you make things, for instance, I make hard-boiled eggs the day before they are needed. They are easy to store in the fridge until you are ready to turn them into deviled eggs.
Can you use aluminum foil in the air fryer?
Aluminum foil or parchment paper can be used in the air fryer basket and makes clean-up very quick! If you use foil, be sure the sides are rolled up to allow the air to circulate.
It’s also very important that food be on the foil or parchment paper before starting the air fryer, this way it does not blow and hit the heating element.
Parchment paper that is specifically made for the air fryer or these silicone mats can be used as well. All of these options will speed up the cleaning process and keep the air fryer nice and clean.
