Make a great low-carb side dish with this Air Fryer Roasted Cauliflower. This is a very simple recipe that follows the same method I used for this Air Fryer Roasted Okra.
Keep in mind that this is a low salt, low oil recipe, which means it’s not breaded or highly seasoned. If you prefer full of flavor cauliflower check out these Air Fryer Cauliflower Buffalo Wings.
This Air Fryer Roasted Cauliflower is not breaded at all so it’s just another way to make it if you don’t prefer it steamed.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Roasted Cauliflower:
Remember first and foremost that all air fryers heat differently. I feel like I need to shout that from the rooftops…seriously. There are so many different air fryers and they all tend to have a different realm of ‘heat’.
I use a Ninja Air Fryer, so all the recipes you see here that’s what I’m using. It will take a few tries with the air fryer you are using to understand how it heats up. For this particular recipe, I cooked this for about 7-10 minutes at 355*F.
I check the recipe around 7 minutes, give it a stir and another coat of olive oil cooking spray and continue cooking until it’s a little browned.
It’s best to cut the cauliflower thinly and place it in an even layer in the bottom of the air fryer.
Can you put foil in the air fryer?
Many times it’s best to use foil or parchment in the air fryer, this really helps with the cleaning of your air fryer basket too. If you use foil for this recipe or any air fryer recipe, be sure to roll the sides so that air is still circulating throughout the air fryer.
It does work well for any type of thin vegetable so it doesn’t fall through the holes in the air fryer too.
- 1 Head of Cauliflower
- 1 Tsp Garlic Salt
- Olive Oil Cooking Spray
- Cut and trim the cauliflower into smaller, thin pieces.
- Coat the basket of the air fryer with olive oil cooking spray, place the cauliflower in the basket.
- Evenly coat with the garlic salt and another coat of olive oil cooking spray.
- Air Fryer at 355*F for 10 minutes, check on it around 7 minutes and stir and coat again with olive oil spray then continue cooking.
