What ingredients do you need for Country Style Ribs in the Air Fryer?

- Boneless Country Style Ribs
- Barbecue Seasoning
- Barbecue Sauce
These are the only ingredients needed to make country style ribs, plus they are naturally gluten-free. We use Head Country Barbecue Seasoning for our ribs, but you can use any barbecue seasoning that you prefer. Any dry rub and favorite bbq sauce that you prefer can be used.
If you prefer to make your dry rub, use a combination of a dash of brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. This can be mixed in a small bowl and then sprinkled over the ribs.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Country Style Pork Ribs:

- Room Temperature Ribs – The ribs should be left at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This allows them to warm up. If you want, you can season them during this time as well, being sure to coat the sides of the ribs with sauce and seasoning.
- Do Not Overcrowd – The air fryer basket cannot be overcrowded. Be sure there is room around the ribs for the air to fully circulate and evenly cook the ribs. The ribs should be added in a single layer.

- Check for Doneness – The ribs need an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F; we prefer to get ours to 160 degrees F. The internal temperature can be checked with a meat thermometer. All air fryers heat differently, so it is very important to use a meat thermometer to get the correct temperature.
- Preheat the Air Fryer – This recipe uses a preheated air fryer, which will allow the ribs to become extra crispy and evenly cooked.
- Use Cooking Spray – A little bit of oil is usually needed with air frying. Use olive oil cooking spray or grapeseed oil cooking spray to coat the ribs and make them extra crisp.
- Brush on the Sauce – Use a brush to evenly brush the sauce or spread the sauce on the ribs.
- Let the Ribs Rest – Before serving, let the ribs rest for 2-5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
How do you store leftover air fried ribs?

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When ready to serve, reheat them at 350 degrees F in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes or until warm. Alternatively, they can be warmed in the oven at 350 degrees F for 5-7 minutes.
We paired these with Air Fryer Baked Potatoes.
If you want to try baby back ribs in the Ninja Foodi, these Ninja Foodi Baby Back Ribs are AMAZING. This recipe uses a multi-cooker and uses a few different functions.
Air Fryer Country Style Ribs have a great flavor combination, and it’s a wonderful variation on traditional grilled ribs that takes a fraction of the time, with very minimal clean up too! Enjoy this dish and add it to your list of great recipes for the air fryer!

Any recipe with ‘air fryer’ in it, basically all the recipes on this site will use ‘air crisp’. If it needs to be bake or grill the recipe should say to use those functions.

Can I use boneless short ribs for this recipe
Kristy says
I haven’t tried those but I do think they’d work, I’d check in on them throughout cooking time.
Cassie says
So you put the ribs in the air fryer straight from the fridge or should they come to room temperature? I usually use my homemade Cajun seasoning blend and have them marinate with the dry rub on it overnight in the fridge. So should I bring them to room temp before putting them in the AF?
Kristy says
I put them straight in the air fryer.
Megan says
