Make easy, crispy, and tasty Air Fryer Parmesan Green Beans in minutes!
Are you ready for a great easy side dish? These Air Fryer Parmesan Green Beans hit the spot and paired wonderfully with Ninja Foodi Chicken Alfredo!
This post will take you through the steps of properly preparing air fryer green beans!
What type of green beans should you use for this recipe?
This recipe uses fresh green beans that have been cleaned and ready to cook. We did not trim them up much, but you certainly can if you prefer.
If using fresh green beans these will be cooked at 360°F for 10 minutes.
If you want to use frozen green beans, it’s best to thaw these out completely and then pat them dry with a paper towel before using them. The cooking time may need to be adjusted by 1-2 minutes as well.
Tips for Making this Recipe:
The beans along with the remaining ingredients will be added to a bowl and then fully coated.
If you are concerned about the smoke point of oil, then use Grapeseed Oil instead of Olive Oil. We did not have any issues with either of these oils during testing.
Many times these will need to be cooked in batches to keep an even layer. This will vary depending on the size of your air fryer.
If you have some chunks of parmesan cheese left at the bottom of the bowl, add those right on top of your green beans when you place them in the air fryer. They will come out like the brown topping on the pictures in this post, it’s a crispy cheese and really adds some great flavor.
Variations of Air Fryer Parmesan Green Beans:
It’s easy to customize these with additional lemon zest or if you want some spice add Red Pepper Flakes.
