If you want to keep the air fryer basket clean, you can use aluminum foil or parchment paper made for the air fryer inside the basket. Silicone Air Fryer Mats work well too. This will prevent the paper or foil from blowing into the heating element.

How do you make Air Fryer Green Beans and Potatoes?

Once the green beans and potatoes have been prepared, coat the air fryer basket with olive oil cooking spray and place the beans and potatoes as evenly as possible into the basket. Then, add garlic salt and any other seasoning you prefer, such as a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Stir up the ingredients or give it a good shake and then air fry at 390 degrees F for 25 minutes.
It’s always suggested to shake or stir the ingredients halfway through the cooking time. At this point, you can also add additional olive oil cooking spray if preferred. All air fryers heat differently so it’s always wise to check on the food during the cooking time to be sure it is not overcooked.
The potatoes should be fork-tender when ready to serve. Once they are done, they can be served directly from the air fryer basket or toss in a large bowl and add additional seasonings if preferred such as salt or black pepper.
How do you store leftovers?
Once cooled, leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. When ready to reheat, heat at 350 degrees F for 3-5 minutes until crispy.

Jean Davis says
made these and anything was burnt….half the time was necessary
Shalini S says
Green beans were burnt even half of the time and 350 temp.
Kristy says
Did you use fresh green beans?
Jodie Lane Pennington says
Does it matter? You said either fresh or frozen.
Kristy says
I’ve used both and made this recipe 100s of times without an issue with the time or temp, but with the air fryer you always want to keep a close eye on it because every machine heats up differently. That’s why it’s so important to check in on it halfway through the cooking time. If the green beans you are using are thin, you can add them about 5 minutes after you’ve added the potatoes so that they aren’t being cooked as long as the potatoes too.
