Get ready to make PERFECT Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes in just 45 minutes!
One of my all-time favorites to make in the air fryer are potatoes, baked potatoes, or sweet potatoes, they are both amazing in the air fryer.
When these are made in the air fryer, they get a great crisp outer layer and then nice and warm on the inside. It’s the PERFECT way to make baked potatoes or baked sweet potatoes.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes:
One thing to remember when using any recipe for the air fryer, they all heat differently. It’s unfortunate, but almost every air fryer tends to put off a different amount of heat.
That means that many times you may need to adjust the timing a bit. I’d suggest starting this recipe at 45 minutes, then add a few minutes if needed.
If you are using much larger sweet potatoes, then it can take a few extra minutes. Sweet Potatoes come in a variety of sizes, but we try to use medium-sized sweet potatoes. I can usually fit 3-4 potatoes at a time.
Once they’ve been washed, cut a few slits in the potatoes and place in the air fryer. When they are in the air fryer, go ahead and spray them with olive oil cooking spray, and then it’s time to cook them.
If you are making Ninja Foodi Sweet Potatoes, use the air crisp function or you can use the pressure cooker method.

To make Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes, all you really need are sweet potatoes and olive oil cooking spray.
Now, you can top them with your favorite toppings either sweet or savory. If you prefer sweet go with marshmallows, cinnamon, and butter.
If you prefer savory, stick with parsley, butter, garlic, and olive oil.
