Of course, an air fryer is perfect for warming up frozen foods such as wings or fries, but it’s also PERFECT for making your own homemade game day snacks too.
It’s easy to use the Air Fryer for Mozzarella Sticks, Stuffed Mushrooms, Wings, Fried Pickles, Onion Rings…and more. Do you have a favorite, must-have game day snack?
I’d say ours is usually wings…of course!
Can you use foil in the air fryer?
Yes! It’s actually a great way to keep the air fryer basket clean. If you do use foil, be sure that the air is still able to circulate.
This means you can leave some room on the sides of the air fryer basket so the air still gets well circulated.
What is the best food to cook in the air fryer?
- Chicken Wings
- Mozzarella Sticks
- Stuffed Mushrooms
- Onion Rings
- Fried Pickles
- Chicken Tenders
- Jalapeno Poppers
- Garlic Bread Pizzas
- …and more!
Football party foods are PERFECT for the air fryer since it’s typically all about the snacks, plus this way it’s a bit better for you too without the oil.
Do you need to use oil in the air fryer?
Typically, no oil is required and definitely no large amounts of oil. It is a good idea to keep an oil-like olive oil cooking spray or grapeseed oil spray on hand to give a nice little spray of oil to the foods to keep them golden brown and crispy.
We always keep this on hand to spray the food in the air fryer, it does not take much.
