Make the best 5-minute dinner with this Air Fryer Garlic Bread Pizza Toast!
Many years ago, I made these Garlic Bread Pizzas that were an instant hit with my family. I’ll admit they were a hit with me too because they are so easy to make.

As soon as we started using the air fryer, I knew that at some point I had to try Air Fryer Garlic Bread Pizza Toast because it would likely take half the time. Does it get any better than 5 minutes?
My kids love these and it’s such a great go-to for lunch or dinner when we don’t really have time to make dinner that night. It’s a fun way to mix it up, plus they taste wonderful too. Who doesn’t like Garlic Texas Toast?

I’ll admit that Texas Toast is certainly on my list of things that I miss being gluten-free now. Thankfully though, my daughter and husband are still ready to enjoy Air Fryer Garlic Bread Pizza Toast anytime it’s on the menu.
This is one of the best air fryer pizza recipes and sure to be a favorite with your family too.
I will typically just do my own garlic bread to make some gluten-free for my son or I’ll use some gluten-free English muffins.

If you don’t have any Garlic Texas Toast on hand these Air Fryer Pizza Bagels are also a great option too. It’s going to be basically the same method just a different choice of bread or crust.
I am now using a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer; however, you can check out a variety of different air fryers in my post on, How to Choose the Right Air Fryer. This is a great Ninja Foodi Recipe!
What do you need for Garlic Bread Pizza Toast?

- Garlic Texas Toast
- Pizza Sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Pepperoni & Toppings
Can you use Aluminum Foil in the Air Fryer?
YES! If you are like me and simply like to make things a little less messy, this is doable. The key though is to make sure the foil isn’t covering the entire air fryer basket.

I tend to fold it up on the sides this way the air can still circulate. This is really based on preference and not something you have to do either.
How long do you cook Air Fryer Garlic Bread Pizza Toast?

Air Fryers tend to have different temperature settings, typically these will cook at 360 degrees for 5 minutes. If yours does not have a 360-degree option, go with 355 degrees.

It’s also good to know how your air fryer functions, for instance, some need to be preheated, others do not. If yours needs to be preheated, turn it on when you start preparing your pizzas for a few minutes to warm up.
What should you pair with this recipe?

We like to pair ours with a nice house salad or wedge salad. It’s easy to pair it with your favorite side item for a traditional pizza.

Oh’d my god…thanks for the helpful tips for making Pizza in an Air Fryer Kristy !! I picked up an Air Fryer 2 months ago and love it so much its about the only way I cook any more.
Which has actually turned out to be a good thing for my Health (I’m 65) as my Doctor recently told me that my Cholesterol and Blood Pressure were both way too high…I normally eat a lot of Fried foods….ya know, the kind you drown in oil. Well in just the 2 months that I have had my Air Fryer my BP went from 156/124 down to 126/80 (which is just about textbook) and my Cholesterol went from 6.1 down to 5.6 (which is the ideal window).
Besides the bacon/egg/cheese ones I make every week, I’ve even come up with some creative munchies to make in the little silicone egg bite doohickeys…like these mini Cherry or Apple pies (I flatten out the frozen cinnamon rolls and line the insides of each “bite” hole with a little bit hanging out of the hole, then add a big tablespoonful of Pie Filling to each hole and then close the excess over the top, cook at 325° for 8 to 10 minutes (depending on your Air Fryers heating tendencies) then when golden brown pull them out and then drizzle the icing over the top…The rolls with the orange icing are supper good too, I’ve even used Orange Marmalade and regular ol’ Strawberry Preserves (like for your P&J’s) oh and if you don’t like the cinnamon flavor, good ol’ regular crescent rolls work just fine.
Cost: $1.00 for Food Lion Cinnamon Rolls + $1.00 for Food Lion Pie Filling – Total cost = $2.00 (usually makes 16)
But yeah Kristy thanks for the idea about using the Garlic Toast for Pizza’s, and hey for a thin crust pizza we could use Sandwich Thins…….watta ya think ?
So glad to hear that!! Sandwich thins is a great idea, I bet that would work. Those pies sound amazing!
I’ll take some pictures on my next batch. Do you have a way I can upload them ?
I’m actually not sure if you can upload them here or not, but you can add them on this pin if you are on Pinterest.

Kristy, this recipe for the garlic toast pizza is beyond wonderful. So fast and easy and delicious. As a recent widow I struggle to cook anything for just one person and finding this pizza recipe was a gift. I love it and actually don’t care if I ever have another piece of regular pizza…the garlic toast is such a great addition. Making some for dinner tonight…Friday night and pizza and a tv sob story movie. 🙂
That’s how my kids feel about this pizza too!! I’m so glad you enjoy it and that’s my kind of Friday night. 🙂
I bought everything to make them. My question is? Does the bread have to be thawed out first?
No it doesn’t.
