Ingredients for Orange Steak Kabobs:

- Round Steak or Flank Steak
- Olive Oil
- Honey
- Orange Juice
- Soy Sauce or Gluten-Free Soy Sauce
- Orange Zest
- Garlic Powder
- Ground Pepper
- Ground Ginger
- Chili Powder
- Sriracha Sauce
- Skewers
If gluten-free is a need, use gluten-free soy sauce. This is the only swap needed for this recipe; however, always check all ingredients to avoid any cross-contamination.
What skewers should you use to air fry?
Metal Skewer sticks work the best in the air fryer; however, if you do use wooden skewer sticks, soak the sticks in water before using them in the air fryer.
Remember, whichever skewer sticks you choose will be hot when you are removing the cooked meat, so use mitts to remove them.
Tips for the Air Fryer Orange Beef Skewers Recipe:

- Marinate the beef – Fully marinate the beef by following the recipe instructions in the recipe card below. The beef should soak in the marinade for at least 1 hour; however, it can be soaked overnight too. The best trick is to place it in the fridge before leaving for work and come home to marinated beef ready to air fry!
- Do not overcrowd the basket – Make sure to leave room around the kabobs so the beef is cooked evenly on all sides in the air fryer basket. If needed, cook in batches. Just before serving, warm all skewers at 325 degrees F for 1-2 minutes.

- Use fresh orange juice – If possible squeeze the juice straight from the orange, then use the orange to zest as well.
- Soak wooden skewer sticks – If using wooden skewer sticks, ALWAYS soak them before using them to avoid burning in the air fryer.
- Slice beef across the grain – For tender beef cubes, slice across the grain.
Variations of Orange Beef Skewers:

- Make it extra spicy – Add additional chili powder, red pepper flakes, or cayenne pepper to the marinade.
- Make it kid-friendly – Add brown sugar to the marinade and serve with french fries.
- Make it deluxe – Add onions and green or red bell peppers in between the beef cubes.
- Use chicken instead – Use the same marinade to make Orange Chicken instead of Orange Beef!
- Garnish the beef – Garnish with green onions or diced red onion.
Temperature for the Best Air Fryer Orange Beef:
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the beef cubes, and cook to your desired level of doneness.
- Medium-Rare: 135 degrees F
- Medium Well: 150 degrees F
- Well Done: 160 degrees F
How do you store leftovers?
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. When ready to serve, reheat at 325 degrees F for 3-4 minutes in the air fryer.
