This delicious snack is cheesy bread balls with a melty cheese inside. They can be found at your local Trader Joe’s in the freezer foods. We find ours near the frozen macaroni and cheese.
How do you make Air Fryer Brazilian Cheese Bread?
All you need to warm up your Brazilian Cheese Bread in the Air Fryer is your bread and Grapeseed Oil Spray.
We prefer to use Grapeseed Oil Spray as it has a higher smoke point than Olive Oil Spray.
Coat the basket of the air fryer with Grapeseed Oil Spray and then evenly place the cheese bread into the basket. Be sure to leave room beside each one so that the hot air can circulate.
If you prefer, you can also use parchment paper that is specifically made for the air fryer; however, we have found that simply using grapeseed oil spray for this recipe works well.
This will likely need to be cooked in batches depending on the size of your air fryer, or it’s easy to cook just what you need and save the rest for later in the freezer.
If you are cooking these from a cold air fryer, then they will need to be cooked at 360 degrees F for 7 minutes or until golden brown.
Alternatively, if you are cooking them in a preheated air fryer or one that you already cooked a batch in, cook them at 360 degrees F for 6 minutes.
Carefully remove and serve them immediately or store them for later.
Remember that all air fryers heat differently, so the total cook time will be 6-8 minutes. It’s always important to check on them while cooking them if it’s your first time making them in the air fryer.
How do you store leftover Brazilian Cheese Bread?
Brazilian Cheese Bread can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
If you prefer to reheat them, reheat in the air fryer at 360 degrees F for 2-3 minutes.
