Tips for Making Air Fryer Mac and Cheese Bites:
The best part of this recipe is it’s more of a method for heating your already-made Mac and Cheese Bites.
Using the air fryer basket, carefully spray the basket with grapeseed oil spray. Grapeseed oil spray has a high smoke point, making it the best choice for air frying.
I do not advise using nonstick cooking spray as it can ruin the coating of your air fryer basket, stick to an oil spray such as Grapeseed Oil Spray.
Once the basket has been sprayed, place the bites in a single layer into the basket leaving room between each one for hot air to circulate.
Then, the air fryer will be used to cook the bites at 390 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
I rarely ever use a preheated air fryer, if you are using a preheated air fryer, then keep the cooking time close to 10 minutes.
I would check on them at 8 minutes if this is your first time making these.
If your air fryer is not preheated, the air fry time will be closer to 12 minutes.
They should be golden brown and soft in the middle. This is a Crispy Mac and Cheese appetizer!
What can you serve Crispy Air Fryer Mac and Cheese Bites with?
Mac and Cheese Bites pair well with Marinara Sauce, Buffalo Sauce, or Ranch Dressing.
