For this particular recipe, we will be focusing on waffle fries. These can easily be found at your local grocery store in the frozen french fries section or you can make waffle fries from scratch and then use the cooking method below.
How long to heat Waffle Fries in the Air Fryer?
These will be cooked for about 15 minutes in the air fryer. These will be added to the air fryer and cooked for 10 minutes, then shake them up and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Remember that every air fryer heats differently, which means you may end up needing to add 5 minutes, it will vary from one machine to the next.
Can you put frozen waffle fries in the Air Fryer?
Frozen waffle fries along with ANY other type of frozen french fry can all be heated up in your machine!

Tips for Making Air Fryer Waffle Fries:
It’s best to coat them with grapeseed oil spray and some garlic salt or kosher salt and then cook them. The result will be a crispy French fry that tastes fried when really it isn’t!
Seasoned Salt is also a great additional seasoning to add if you want some kick to your french fries.
French Fries are simple to make in the air fryer, then pair them with Homemade Ranch Dressing and serve!

Air Fryer Waffle Fries
Ingredients
- 16 oz Frozen Waffle Fries
- Garlic Salt to Taste
- Grapeseed Oil Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Coat basket of air fryer with oil spray.
- Place the fries in the air fryer evenly in one layer, try to do as little layering as possible, and add a dash of garlic salt.
- Cook these for 10 minutes at 400 degrees, after 10 minutes, shake up or mix up the fries and add additional garlic salt.
- Cook for 5-10 additional minutes and serve.
- Remember – all air fryers heat differently, in a Ninja Air Fryer 20 minutes was perfect for ours, but it’s best to check them at the 10-minute mark and 15 minutes.
- Add more time if preferred to get to your desired level of crispness.
- If you are cooking in batches, place them on a cookie sheet in the oven at 200*F to stay warm.
