Make a delicious dinner that is easy with these Air Fryer Ranch Breaded Chicken Tenders.
One of my favorite go-to recipes for my family is chicken tenders. They are just such a great, kid-friendly meal that can be paired with any of your favorite dipping sauces.
My personal favorite is honey mustard. What is yours?
My basic recipe for air fryer chicken tenders is a great one too, but sometimes it’s nice to add something extra to it like a ranch seasoning.
How do you make Air Fryer Ranch Breaded Chicken Tenders?
It’s simple to make Ranch Chicken Tenders, simply mix together a package of ranch seasoning mix with seasoned flour. Once you’ve done that, simply coat the chicken tenders and cook them up in the air fryer.
It’s best to use some type of cooking spray too so that they do not dry out. We prefer to use an Olive Oil Cooking Spray. I spray them when I place them in the air fryer and again when I turn them. This gives them that nice golden brown look as well.
Which Seasoned Flour Should You Use?
If you are gluten-free, I HIGHLY recommend the Better Batter Gluten-Free Seasoned Flour. That is what I use to make these and they are amazing. This seasoned flour can also be used to make this Air Fried Chicken. It’s absolutely delicious.
In full disclosure I am a partner with Better Batter, so I use their flour often; however, I can honestly say it’s the best and every recipe I make gluten-free is made with it.
For those that do not need gluten-free, the seasoned flour needs to be a good mixture of salt, pepper, and flour. The best one I have found is this Kentucky Kernal Seasoned Flour.
Seasoned Flour is also easy to make yourself as well from scratch with your own all-purpose flour, this recipe for Seasoned Flour works well.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Ranch Breaded Chicken Tenders
Only TWO ingredients are needed, seasoned flour and a ranch packet. I would start with 1/2 cup of flour and add more if needed. The amount of flour needed is going to vary based on how large or small the chicken tenders are that you use.
Once you have the chicken tenders coated, be sure to spray the air fryer basket first with non-stick cooking spray before placing them in the air fryer.
Always be sure to check on the chicken halfway through the cooking time, turn them over, and add another coat of spray.
The chicken needs to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees to be well done.
Now, it’s time to make some air fryer chicken tenders!
