Air fryers use hot air to circulate around the food, creating a crispy and crunchy exterior while keeping the inside moist and tender.
This makes them the perfect tool for cooking frozen fish fillets, without the need for excess oil or frying.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Frozen Fish Fillets:
I typically use Gorton’s Fish Fillets when making these in the Air Fryer.
These fillets tend to be perfect for this because they also come in a resealable bag, which means you can just heat what you need and save the rest for later.

A good 95% of all my cooking is done fresh; however, just like everyone else sometimes that frozen food comes to the rescue.
Quick Tip for Frozen Fish: The only thing you need for this is frozen fish fillets and grapeseed oil spray. If you prefer you can add lemon as well to give it a little squeeze of lemon before serving.

Remember that these do not have to be thawed, just place them frozen into the air fryer.
Once you have the basket of the air fryer or Ninja Foodi sprayed with a coat of grapeseed oil spray, then just add the fillets you need to fit in the basket.
I like to give them another coat of spray too after putting them in. That helps the outside get nice and crispy.

After that it’s 390*F for 10 minutes, there is no need to preheat either.
Once that 10 minutes is up, you have some great fish fillets to top over a salad or pair with your favorite vegetables. It’s just the best quick dinner!
That is how easy it is to make frozen fish fillets in the air fryer.
Remember that these can also be made in the Ninja Foodi or Ninja Speedi too. If using either of those, simply use the air fryer function.
Enjoy!

This was delicious and I also use Gorton’s. I used my Ninja XL Air Fryer and the next time I make these; I will need to turn halfway to get crispy on both sides.
Where do I buy Gordon’s
I’ve found them at my local grocery store, but you can pick any that your store has.
I always turn mine to crisp both sides.
I airfried as per directions, 390 for 10 minutes. Perfectly crispy on both sides and cooked done on the inside. Delicious.
