In just 8-10 minutes make some delicious fair-style corn dogs with these Air Fryer Corn Dogs!
Do you love those tasty, crispy fair corn dogs? Now, you can make them right at home with these Air Fryer Corn Dogs.
Unlike the microwave, the air fryer gives them a great crispy outer breading and they are so good, you will never know they were once frozen!
Tips for Making Air Fryer Corn Dogs:
Be sure to evenly place them in the air fryer, do not overcrowd the air fryer. Our air fryer fit 8 of them nicely, which was the whole box. I suggest only cooking the amount you need as they taste best right out of the air fryer.
It’s also best to give these a nice even coat of cooking oil spray such as grapeseed. Air Fryer recipes will typically always use some oil, but not as much as a traditional fried recipe.
As with all air fryers, they all heat differently. We made these in 8 minutes at 390*F and rotated them after 4 minutes. Some air fryers will take closer to 10 minutes, so it’s best to check on them around 4-5 minutes and be sure they are cooking nicely and not overcooking.
Can you make these with Mini Corn Dogs?
This recipe can be done with mini corn dogs as well, the same temperature and time but be sure as always to check on them about halfway through the cooking time.
Can you make these gluten-free?
They do carry frozen gluten-free corn dogs at the store and they can be made in the air fryer the exact same way, so it’s totally up to you on which ones you need.
This is a great recipe to teach the kids as it makes it easy for them to make their own lunch.
