How do you make breakfast potatoes in the air fryer?

The first step is preparing the vegetables by either chopping or slicing them per your preference. It’s best to coat the air fryer basket with a cooking oil spray of your choice.
I use Pompeian Olive Oil Spray regularly without issue, but if you prefer a higher heat cooking oil spray, use grapeseed oil spray.
Once the basket is sprayed, add in all the chopped veggies and then the seasonings and another coat of spray. At this point, these can be cooked at 360 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. If you preheat the air fryer, I would suggest going with 20 minutes, checking on them throughout cooking time to shake or stir them up.
All air fryers do heat differently, so it’s best to keep a close eye on any new recipe that you try out in the air fryer to avoid overcooking.
We love to pair this tasty dish with Air Fryer Sausage Patties; you can even add Air Fried Eggs to it, too! That means it’s easy to make your entire breakfast right in the air fryer.
Quick Tips:
- Make the Cheesy!
- Add in Extra Veggies – Like Jalapenos!
- Add Spice – Use jalapenos or red pepper flakes to make them spicy.
- Serve with eggs, bacon, sausage, or ham.
How do you store leftover breakfast potatoes?
Store the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. When ready to reheat, heat in the air fryer at 375 degrees F for 3-5 minutes until crisp.

Air Fryer Breakfast Potatoes are the best easy side dish for your morning breakfast. They taste fried, but really no deep frying is needed! These will be a hit on your breakfast table.
