What ingredients do you need for Garlic Butter Chicken?

- Salted Butter
- Dried Parsley
- Kosher Salt
- Garlic
- Italian Seasoning
- Garlic Powder
- Paprika
- Lemon Pepper
- Parmigiano Cheese
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
- Olive Oil
- Skewers
Can you use chicken thighs for this recipe?

Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs can be used for this recipe; however, they will likely cook faster than the timing for chicken breast, so be sure to watch the chicken closely when cooking.
What skewers should you use for the Air Fryer?

Metal Skewers or Wooden Skewers can be used for this recipe. They will need to fit your air fryer basket, depending on the size of your air fryer typically 4 inches – 6 inches will work for the skewer sticks.
If you are using wood skewer sticks, soak them in water before using them to prevent burning.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Garlic Butter Chicken Skewers:

Begin by cutting the chicken breast into smaller pieces, these can be cut into 1-inch cubes or bite-sized chicken pieces. Remember that it’s best to keep it cut with similar sizes so that it cooks evenly.
The parmesan butter sauce will be mixed in a small bowl and then set aside until the chicken is prepared on the skewers.
The chicken will be coated with olive oil and seasoned then arranged on the skewer sticks. Once the chicken is on the skewers, the chicken will be placed in the air fryer basket and air fry for 4 minutes at 400 degrees F. Once the chicken is carefully flipped over, then use a brush to brush on the garlic butter mixture.
We prefer to line our air fryer with parchment paper for easier cleanup; however, you can make these without it being lined.

If you prefer, you can save or make additional garlic butter for dipping when serving, it’s an excellent dipping sauce.
The chicken will then be cooked following the full recipe instructions in the recipe card below.
Remember that the internal temperature of the chicken must reach at least 165 degrees F to be considered done. This can be checked with a meat thermometer.
All air fryers do heat differently, so it’s always best to use a meat thermometer to be sure it has reached the proper temperature.
This recipe is naturally gluten-free and very easy to customize to your dietary preference.

It’s likely that you will want to make these in batches, if your first batch is cool by the time you are ready to serve it, place all skewers in the basket and heat at 275 degrees F for 2-3 minutes to warm them back up.
Variations of Air Fryer Chicken Skewers:

- Make it Spicy – Add red pepper flakes and chili powder to the garlic butter sauce.
- Make it kid-friendly – Top the skewers with shredded cheese and melt.
- Make it Deluxe – Serve the skewers with sauteed mushrooms over a bed of rice.
How do you store leftovers?
The leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days in an airtight container.
When ready to serve, air fry at 300 degrees F for 5 minutes or until warm to your liking.

These garlic butter chicken skewers are not only easy but also so flavorful that you’ll find yourself making them on repeat. Air Fryer Garlic Butter Chicken Skewers will be an easy recipe that the whole family will enjoy.
