- 7-inch Cake Pan or Baking Dish that fits in your Air Fryer
- Large Skillet
- Olive Oil
- Chopped Onion
- Chicken Tenderloin
- Ranch Seasoning
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bacon Bits
- Gluten-free or Regular Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Milk
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Frozen Tater Tots
What type of chicken should you use for this casserole?

This casserole is made with boneless, skinless chicken tenderloins.
If you prefer to use chicken breast or chicken thighs, those can also be used as well.
How do you make this gluten-free?

There are only a few swaps needed to make this recipe gluten-free. First, use Gluten-Free Cream of Mushroom Soup or Gluten-Free Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup.
No other swaps are needed; however, as always check all ingredients before using them specifically the Tater Tots. We have found that some of the generic brands of Tater Tots are cross-contaminated. Be sure to check all labels before using.
Variations of Air Fryer Bacon Ranch Casserole:

- Make it Spicy – Add Cayenne Pepper or Lemon Pepper to the recipe when cooking in the skillet.
- Make it Kid-Friendly – Mix in shredded cheese with the chicken mixture before adding to the cake pan.
- Make it Deluxe – Add in Mushrooms or Gouda Cheese.
How do you store the leftovers?

Leftover casserole can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. When ready to reheat, place the portion on a heat-proof plate and heat in the air fryer at 340 degrees F for 3-4 minutes.

Air Fryer Bacon Ranch Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Onion (Red Onion or Sweet Onion)
- 1 Pound Chicken Tenderloin, Cut into Bite-Size Pieces
- 2 Tbsp Ranch Seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/3 Cup Bacon Bits
- 10.5 oz Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Gluten-Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 16 oz Frozen Tater Tots
Instructions
- Coat a 7-inch cake pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set Aside.
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the onions and cook for 1-2 minutes until the onions are translucent.
- Add the chicken and sprinkle with ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink and the internal temperature reaches at least 165ยฐF.
- Add the bacon bits and mix well.
- Pour condensed soup and milk in and mix well.
- Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil, be sure it's fully secured so it doesn't blow around in the air fryer.
- Place the pan in the air fryer covered for 10 minutes at 340ยฐF.
- Carefully uncover it after 10 minutes and continue cooking for an additional 12-15 minutes until the top is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve and enjoy.
