Tips for Making Air Fryer Bacon:
Making bacon in the air fryer is simple, the air fryer does the work for you and no additional ingredients are needed.
The grease will be contained in the bottom of the air fryer basket.

- Place the bacon in the air fryer to fit. This will depend on the size of your air fryer, typically we will cook ours in two batches.
- Cook the bacon at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes, carefully rotate the bacon, and cook an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Cool and serve!
Can you use Aluminum Foil in an Air Fryer?
Aluminum foil can be used to line the air fryer basket and it will allow for easier cleanup.
If you use aluminum foil, place it to fit in the basket and roll up the sides so that air is still able to circulate.
Be sure to place the bacon on the foil before turning it on so that the foil does not blow into the heating element.
Does Air Fryer Bacon taste good?
It taste just as good as making it in the skillet, the same crispy bacon but made with a different method.
It is very similar to making it in the oven, which my preferred method are oven or air fryer. I typically opt out of making bacon on the griddle or skillet simply because the grease tends to go everywhere.

What is the best Air Fryer?
There are so many great air fryers, but I recommend reading this article on “How to Choose the Right Air Fryer,” before you buy one.
I am now using a Ninja Foodi, which I HIGHLY recommend. It’s amazing.
The Ninja Foodi Multi-Cooker is an all-in-one appliance. I use it to air fry, pressure cook, sauté, and slow cook foods now. I gave away all of my other appliances because this one does it all. This is a great Ninja Foodi Recipe!
When I am not using the multi-cooker, I use a Ninja Air Fryer. I tend to be loyal to Ninja, I love their products!
The Ninja Air Fryer is a square basket whereas the multi-cooker is round.
Keep in mind that while this recipe has been tested many times, all air fryers heat differently, even the same brands of machines. Always check on the food if it’s the first time you are making it and adjust the times as necessary.

What setting is used to cook bacon
Kristy says
If using a ninja foodi it would be the ‘air crisp’ function. Otherwise with other air fryers it would just be the air fryer option.

We love making bacon like this!

I nuke bacon and love it that way. I have bacon grills and cover with a paper towel. The grease goes in the wells for easy pouring into a container for freezer or the fridge. Can’t imagine cooking it any other way.
