Tips for Making Air-Fried Oreos:
These tasty treats can be made by following these simple steps with basic ingredients.
It’s best to either use parchment paper or a cooking spray like Grapeseed Oil Spray to coat the air fryer basket. This will help the batter not stick to the bottom of the basket.
When dipping the Oreos in the pancake batter, be sure to fully coat the Oreos. It will take some hands-on work to get them fully coated and it is a messy batter, so keep this in mind as you try to coat the cookie.
Place the battered Oreos in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer, be sure to give them plenty of space for the hot air to circulate and the batter to rise a bit.
These tasty snacks will be air-fried at 360 degrees F for 6 minutes. For best results, be sure to check on them after 2-3 minutes. We did not find it necessary to flip the Oreos, but if you prefer you can carefully flip them over halfway through the cooking time.
When the wrapped Oreos come out of the air fryer, I suggest giving them a generous sprinkle of powdered sugar before serving them. During the holidays, they can even be sprinkled with some colored sugar.
These may need to be cooked in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
This recipe makes a dozen Air Fried Oreos, and I guarantee they will disappear before your eyes!
Can you make Air Fried Oreos in a Ninja Foodi?
These can be made as Ninja Foodi Air Fried Oreos, using the Air Crisp function on the Ninja Foodi. These will be made the same way in the Ninja Foodi as you would do with the Air Fryer.
How do you store Leftover Air Fryer Oreos?
Extra Oreos can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days at room temperature. Remember that these are always best served fresh.
