There are plenty of great recipes that can be made in the air fryer that are good for you too such as this list of air fryer vegetable recipes.
Air Fryer Kale Chips are a perfect choice if you need an easy, low-carb snack idea. I find these to be a great go-to recipe.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Kale Chips:
These can be coated with your favorite seasonings; however, we typically do a simple garlic salt and oil coating.
I almost always use Pompeian Olive Oil Cooking Spray; however, if you prefer a high smoke point, you can also use Grapeseed Oil Spray too.
It’s also very important to watch the air fryer time closely the first time you make these.
All air fryers heat differently, which means you may need more or less time than what it takes in my air fryer. I’d start with the 390*F for 5 minutes as a reference point but check on them at 3 minutes.
Then, if needed add additional time until you discover the best time for yours.
How do you store Air Fryer Kale Chips?
It’s best to store these in an airtight storage container for just up to 2 days after cooking, they are best served right out of the air fryer.
Do not store the kale in the fridge or it will become very soggy, it’s perfectly fine to store at room temperature as long as it’s in an airtight container.
