Make these EASY Air Fryer Hot Pockets in the Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi in less than 12 minutes!
One of my go-to meals during my college days was Hot Pockets and now they are even better when you can heat them up in the Air Fryer.

Are hot pockets better when cooked in the air fryer?
They come out much more crispy and hot, plus the texture is much more like a calzone instead of spongy.

The cheese is melted similarly to a pizza out of a pizza oven, which just makes them a million times better, right?
The biggest tip though is to carefully watch them as all air fryers tend to heat differently. Ours were done in about 10-12 minutes in the air fryer.
I do prefer to flip them about halfway through and use some grapeseed oil spray too. The flipping of them is completely personal preference and totally up to you, but I feel like it gets them nice and crispy on all sides.
Remember that Hot Pockets come with little sleeves to microwave them in…DO NOT use those in the Air Fryer!
Repeat that a few times!!
Can you make Air Fryer Hot Pockets in the Ninja Foodi?

These can be made in the Ninja Foodi using the “Air Crisp” function of the Ninja Foodi. The times and temperatures will all remain the same.
Do these need to be defrosted first?
The Hot Pockets can go into the Air Fryer from a frozen state, just like these Air Fryer Frozen Foods.

In just about 12 minutes, they will be cooked up to perfection and you’ll never know they were frozen, to begin with.
How do you keep the air fryer clean?
If you want to avoid any foods sticking to the bottom of the basket, I’ve started to use these Silicone Mats for the Air Fryer.
These come in two different sizes too for either a round air fryer or square air fryer.
In these pictures here that you see, I’m using these square ones for my Ninja Foodi Grill that doubles as an Air Fryer too.
These make clean-up very easy and protect the basket too, which is just a double win!
Now it’s time to enjoy a quick lunch or snack!
