Make a delicious dinner using the Air Fryer with these Air Fryer Bratwurst and Vegetables.
Each new recipe I try in the Air Fryer quickly becomes the new favorite.
I thought that Honey Garlic Chicken was my favorite, but I think these Air Fryer Bratwurst and Vegetables are certainly at the top of the favorite list too.

Air Fryer Bratwurst and Vegetables
My husband loves bratwurst, so when I saw them on sale for $1.50, I knew that I needed to load up on those. I mean really, you can’t beat meat for $1.50.
I picked up a package, but I really had not had a chance to use them yet. Then, when I started using the Air Fryer, I quickly decided that we needed to try those in the Air Fryer.
Did you know that you can cook brats in the air fryer? It’s so simple!

I cut up green bell peppers, red bell peppers, and some onion to pair with the bratwurst. I decided to line the bottom of the air fryer with foil.
Then, I placed the vegetables in it, topped it with sliced up bratwurst. I cooked it on 390* for 20 minutes, I mixed it up about 10 minutes into the cook time so that it was evenly cooked on all sides.

What do you need for Air Fryer Bratwurst and Vegetables?
- Red Bell Pepper
- Green Bell Pepper
- Onion
- Cajun Seasoning
- Bratwurst
- Foil
- Air Fryer
I use a 3.7L Air Fryer, so I did this in two batches. It was enough to feed likely 6 people or more depending on your serving size.
I am now using a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer; however, you can check out a variety of different air fryers in my post on, How to Choose the Right Air Fryer.
My husband and I loved this meal. It was so simple to make, perfect if you need a quick dinner night.

The vegetables can be prepped earlier in the week too, so that all you need to do is toss it all in the air fryer, then cook it up.
This just could not have been easier. I’m already excited to try this again with some garden fresh produce. We are just about to get our garden planted.
I think we may be planting a little later than last year. We did seeds last year; however, this year, I think we are just going to opt for plants instead that have already sprouted some.

The seeds in the garden here just don’t seem to do well with the number of spring rains we have, they easily get washed up and transplanted in various locations.
One year, I’m pretty sure our entire yard was taken over by squash. The seeds had flown out of the garden during a strong thunderstorm and everywhere they landed we had squash.
It was equally hilarious and frustrating all at the same time!
This year though, more plants, fewer seeds. We will see how that goes.
In the meantime, enjoy this Air Fryer Bratwurst and Vegetables!

Looks yummy! Hope you don’t mind a couple of questions… Did you use the pre-cooked Brats? My Air Fryer has the basket; is it okay to line the basket with foil? Thank you!
These were with uncooked brats. Yes, you can line the basket just be sure that on the sides air is still able to circulate. It def makes clean up easier!
Yum! Made with 4 links, so got 4 servings. Definitely recommend bread to sop up the juices.
Btw, I just recently got my air fryer, and your site has become my go-to. Thanks for all the yummy recipes! <3

I was wondering if other vegetables could be good, I am not a peppers and onions person.
Yes, you could swap them out just watch the cook time with different veggies.
My husband adores. Brats, me not so much but the recipe sounds like it would be very tasty, I may add more root vegetables, but should I partially boil them first?
I don’t but it’s up to you.
Love all the air fryer recipes, which was recently a gift from my son. Raised him right. (Smiley face)
This looks a yummy recipe I will have try this with out peppers and use different veg I am in the U.K. and love trying new recipes out
I was thinking of adding a cubed potato into this recipe. How much more time would it need to cook…
I haven’t done it with cubed potatoes, so you’d have to start with maybe 5 minutes and watch it. The peppers cook fast, so you may need to add in the potatoes first then add in the other ingredients.
