Ingredients for Air Fryer Baked Apples:
- Apples
- Salted Butter
- Ground Cinnamon
- Old Fashioned Oats
- Chopped Pecans
- Brown Sugar
- Ground Cinnamon
- Butter
Step-by-Step Instructions:

- Clean the apples, but do not peel them.
- Using a spoon or a knife, remove the core of the apple. Be careful not to cut it all the way through. If you have some of the apple that is not the core, you can set those aside and use them for the topping.
- Mix the melted butter and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Using a pastry brush, brush the mixture on the apple and inside the apple where the core was removed. Set aside.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix the ingredients for the topping. These are the oats, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter. If you have any additional apple pieces from earlier, mix those in. Mix until well combined.
- Add the oat mixture equally into both apples.
- Add 1/2 cup of water to the basket of the air fryer.
- Carefully place the apples in the air fryer basket and air fry at 350ยฐF for 13-15 minutes. It’s best to start checking them at 10 minutes, as all air fryers heat differently.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tips for Making Air Fryer Baked Apples:

One of the most important steps to making these baked apples is being able to cut the core out of the apple without cutting it all the way through.
Carefully cut or spoon out the core of the apple. If you get some pieces of apple that were not supposed to come out, you can save those and use them in the filling later, so just set those aside.

The topping will be a mix of sugared oats; it can even be topped to serve with some Air Fryer Granola, too. We always serve these with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It’s a must!

Plus, add a drizzle of Homemade Caramel Sauce too.

- Use firm apples; this way, they do not get mushy.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket; leave room.
- Add additional toppings like chocolate chips, caramel sauce, or ice cream.
- Do not cut the apple all the way through.
How do you store the Air Fryer Baked Apples?

Once fully cooled, store in the fridge for 3 days. When ready to reheat, heat in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes or until warm.
