It’s important to use apples that hold their shape when cooked at high heat.
The best choices will be Honeycrisp, Funi, Gala, Cosmic, or Pink Lady apples. If you prefer something sweeter, use Honeycrisp or Fuji. Pink Lady apples will give you a more tart flavor.

- 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Use an apple slicer to slice and core the apple, the skin can be left intact or removed depending on your preference.
- Place apple slices in a small bowl.
- Top with maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Mix well to fully coat the apple.
- Carefully place apple slices in the air fryer basket. Leave room around the apple slices for air to circulate.
- Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes or until the apple slices are soft.
- Serve as is, with yogurt, or ice cream.
