Make the best easy Air Fryer Mushrooms in just 8 minutes!
Do you ever get a hankering for some sauteed mushrooms? My husband loves to add these to pizzas, pasta, and more, so many times we just need a side of mushrooms.
That’s where the Air Fryer comes in handy because you can easily make these in 8 minutes and get that great sauteed taste and texture with very little work!
What type of mushrooms should you use for Air Fryer Mushrooms?
Any type of mushrooms can be used for this recipe; however, I typically use cremini or portobello mushrooms.
It’s best to slice these up before adding them to the Air Fryer. In the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer, I can typically fit about 16oz at a time and get those cooked evenly.
How long does it take to cook?
These mushrooms are cooked at 390*F in the Air Fryer for 8 minutes. I always check on them halfway through the cooking time and stir them up a bit too.
They are great topped with some grapeseed oil spray and a dash of garlic salt.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Mushrooms:
It’s best to wash these even if you are getting them pre-sliced from the store. Then, I serve them either on a dish or topped as is with freshly chopped parsley.
Be sure to thinly slice these or use pre-sliced mushrooms so that they will evenly cook on all sides within 8 minutes.
Remember to use an Air Fryer or a Ninja Foodi with the Air Crisp function, that is how these are cooked for this method. These are simply going to be similar to sauteed mushrooms.
