1Diced Green Bell Pepper
8Whole EggsBeaten
1/2CupShredded Colby Jack Cheese
1TspFennel Seed
1/2TspGarlic Salt
Instructions
If you are using the Ninja Foodi, use the saute function to brown the sausage in the pot of the foodi. If you are using an air fryer, you can use a skillet to do this.
Add in the onion and pepper and cook along with the ground sausage until the veggies are soft and the sausage is cooked.
Using the 8.75-inch pan or the Air Fryer pan, spray it with grapeseed oil spray or olive oil spray.
Place the ground sausage mixture on the bottom of the pan.
Top evenly with cheese.
Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the cheese and sausage.
Add fennel seed and garlic salt evenly over the eggs.
Place the rack in the low position in the Ninja Foodi, and then place the pan on top.
Set to Air Crisp for 15 minutes at 390°F.
If you are using an air fryer, place the dish directly in the basket of the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 390°F.
The internal temperature should reach at least 160°F to be considered done.
Carefully remove and serve.
Notes
This can be done in an Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi with slight modifications.Remember that all air fryers heat differently, if yours is not done to your liking after 15 minutes, add 5 minutes and check until the eggs are fully cooked. We use a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and they are done at 15 minutes on 390°F for us. Using a meat thermometer, the internal temperature should be at least 160°F to be considered done.Pan size also makes a difference, if you use a deeper pan it may need 20 minutes.
