Instructions
Butter or oil an 8-inch cake pan and set aside.
Clean the potatoes and slice them if not already to 1/4-1/8 inch thick.
Place the slices into a bowl of cold water.
Once the potatoes are sliced and clean, pat dry with a towel.
Place all the potatoes into a large mixing bowl.
Add 4 tbsp of melted butter and mix to coat the potatoes with butter.
Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, and paprika. Mix this well.
Add the cream of chicken soup and mix so all potatoes are coated with seasonings and soup.
Place 1 layer of potatoes in the pan and sprinkle with cheese using about 1/4 cup of the cheese.
Repeat until you have used all the potatoes, sprinkle cheese between the layers.
Add additional cheese, about 1/2 cup.
In a separate bowl, crush the potato chips and add 2 tbsp of butter. Add this mixture onto the top layer.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Gently press it all down.
Place in the air fryer at 330°F and cook for 25-30 minutes. Remember the time will vary depending on the air fryer, so be sure to watch it closely.
The potatoes are done when a knife can easily be cut through them. Serve!
Notes
If potatoes are too thick it will take longer to cook.
